FWIW, if indeed Montreal decides to push on ROR, Galchenyuk gone doesn't do anything from a Buffalo point of view. Sabres would be looking for a different mix of assets.

Money saver? How much do you expect Domi to sign for?

I didnt initially realize he was RFA. I corrected myself later and asked how much he will get. Friedman thinks 6 years @ 5. But I'm wondering if we can convince him to take a bridge deal.

Biggest issue with 27 is his hockey sense/IQ. He appears to have very little of either. Whether this trade will be any good is another matter.

Exactly and only nine the year before. The Habs have good reason to low ball him and tell him he needs to produce to get a bigger contract.
