maybe MB wants more cap space to get Lucic from Edmonton in exchange of their 1rst rounder.
I would do that for their 10th, and would grab the Finn along with wahlstrom. If the russian is available in the 3rd, you pick him and try to move up to pick the Finn.
Hell, would even try to trade Patches for the Isles 11th and 12th picks... Patches would help the Isles in signing Tavares.

My prediction that the habs would would fighting for a wild card spot? Yes, I guess it was. I did predict that the Habs were not a better team, if anything a little worse, and that teams in the Atlantic had gotten much better, so I was on the right track.
You somehow believe that every move the habs make is a good one, despite evidence to the contrary, and that the habs are always going to be better than they actually are. It was cute once you went in full tank mode eventually though.
