GDT #50: 2024/02/10 - Baby Bro

Benoit has looked like what I thought Benoit was when they signed him. I'll give him a pass though, he's been good.
 
I've got no problem with Rielly's defensive lapses. He does too much good in other ways to give much of a shit.

I wish we had two of him. So desperate for offense from the blueline.
 
Hey yesterday I saw a guy named Preston who I haven’t seen in a while and I kept calling him presto and talking about dicks and stuff. He had no idea wtf was going in but pretty sure he now thinks Im gay.
 
FYI, Jonas' real name is Preston and he is for sure pretty happy and optimistic about yesterday's encounter.
 
The leafs are just predictable and easy to play against.

On Wednesday they played a really good game, but it was interesting to see how much harder the stars were to get the puck through the neutral zone against, and the relative ease Dallas had in transition vs the leafs.

And how much better would it have been if we'd signed Tarasenko for his $5m rather than Bertuzzi for $5.5m. Especially if we had got him for a couple of years.
 
I can’t believe that knies play. Like you’ve got the best goal scorer in tbe league wide open 6 feet from the net, in front of you and you not only don’t pass it, you take a soft wringer right into the goalies chest.
