The roadie continues in the Beehive State.

After a 7-2 thumping of the Blackhawks, the Canes need 3 points to clinch the top seed in the conference. Janky and Stanky each had a pair of goals, Stanky joined the 20 goal club, the 6th Cane to do so this season. They’re not skating this morning and the Wolves that were recalled on Thursday are still with the team, so the lineup is anyone's guess. RBA will meet with the press at 2:45.

Utah clinched their first playoff spot on Thursday with a win over Nashville, their 5th win in a row. They’re 7-3 in their last 10. Like the Canes, the Mammoth have 6 20 goal scorers, led by Dylan Guenther with 39. Clayton Keller has 57 assists. Karel Vejmelka has carried the load in goal starting 60 games. He’s at 2.72/.898. He’s backed up by Vitek Vancek who is at 2.87/.882 in 20 games, 18 starts. The Mammoth are 10th in goals per game, tied for 5th in goals against. They’re 20th on the PP, 18th on the PK.

The only other meeting between these two this season was that ridiculous 5-4 win by the Canes in late January that saw them score 3 goals in the last two minutes of regulation. Maybe the most bonkers game of the year. This probably won’t be that, but one can hope. Also, the stakes for both teams are super low, and sometimes that produces a free flowing exchange of chances. The Masters looks like a dud this year anyway. Unless you're rooting for “epic collapse,” I guess. With Rory, that’s always on the table. So why not tune in and enjoy one of our few remaining FanDuel offerings.
