Actually, I find the current brand of hockey the Canes are playing to be far more watchable than the seasons and seasons of Mo-hockey I've had to endure.
The trend of what I'm seeing being installed is positive. And there's actually some credence to the narrative that is out there to be employed by management if that's the direction chosen.
I totally agree. Our "elite" players just aren't performing (really, no players are) in terms of scoring, but our overall play is light years ahead of where we've been. Having said that, we still need to make some major roster changes. There's no room for holding on and seeing if we can squeak into the playoffs year after year. We need new players to develop a winning attitude.
