GDT | Game #82 | at Flyers | Tuesday, April 14th 2026 7:00 PM EST

Nah we have enough offense and more coming Outside of FB.

Anyways my comment was more around how surprised people are at RB’s skill set.

No offense but you're pretty much the last guy whose word I would take on this.
I don't understand this move either unless it was an emotional response to not winning the frozen four. If his brother is not going to Michigan next season (which I can understand him wanting to play with his brother) then what is the purpose of returning? Further development would not be better there than in the pros. Maybe mom wants him getting his degree? Maybe he places higher importance on the degree than most? It's quite baffling actually and yes, it does sort of mess up the rebuild timeline. If a young, solid second line center is available, I would move him as well because he just put question marks on himself with this decision.

Demigod IS a play driver, NHL now is all about complementary duos.

I’d say Demigod needs a W like Knies to complement his game & finish his plays. The C would act as defensive conscience

Is Zegras even playing any C? I thought Tocchet put him on Dvoraks W
Pat Brisson is one of the smartest agent out there....he doesn't use social media or theatricals (like Allen Walsh) to get his message to pass.
Habs have done a great job developing their top talents since HuGo are here, so for Brisson/Hage to forgo HuGo recommandations and stay in Michigan, means something must've happened....was it them finding out Hughes was about to trade him for Knies ???

Either way, very weird situation, and even more weird knowing Pat Brisson is the top agent in hockey, so something is up (other than Hage wants to play with his brother)

(having said that, watch Hage join the Habs for Game 1...LOL)

Can't wait for the 8x8 contract that Philly regrets
If Zegras and Koneckny are your 2 best guns your doomed
the point is that Zegras' value was low, it would have been a no-brainer to try him....and if he doesn't pan out, you walk away...just like Dach (except Dach actually cost us a lot to get him)....

he can come back anytime after his career to get his degree.....these athletes have free schooling either now, or after their careers...that's one of the perks they have

+ Zegras’ past relationship w MSL & Hughes - both of whom coached him in youth hockey and know him well

well, if Hugues didn't trade for him, means they knew he wasn't gonna fit i guess.....

But still, it's not like Zegras-Michkov (two supposedly bad teammates) have prevented Flyers from making playoffs...

Zegras surrounded my Matheson, Gallagher, Anderson, Suzuki, Cole.....i doubt he makes the locker room bad by himself, surrounded by all that talent/experience/mentorship

But yes, Zegras is not the big physical Ryan O'Reilly type 2C that we would have wanted.....that's probably why HuGo didn't trade for him
