The problem with Carrier was that if he was hurt, he should have stayed on the ice and rolled around like Thompson in the last game. The refs would have blown the whistle for and injury, no odd man chance. Instead he tried to be a tough guy, drag himself up and get off the ice, leaving his team shorthanded. The lesson is, if you are actually hurt, don’t try and get up.

that's 100% a penalty in the regular season, which is how they were calling the game tonight, especially with the heavies like Anderson and Xhekaj

the inconsistency is unacceptable.... the refs made it clear to both sides that they were calling the game tight tonight....and they allow Wilson to skate 50 feet just to cave someone's head

The excuse I saw was that Carrier was only hit in the head by Wilson’s shoulder because Carrier is short. Not a headshot on a regular sized player. Can’t penalize Wilson for Carrier is short.

We were in the driver’s seat going into the third period….then allowed 4 goals.
This is on coaching…you have to gameplan better….you see Caps players going for dirty hits since first period puck drop, you needed to have a talk with refs or have your players send a message.
