I really don't get the hatred for the guy. Yeah, he cheated on his hot, shitty wife a decade ago. He paid her about 110 million for her troubles (on top of millions of annual child support). Since then he's done somewhere in between 150-250 million in charity work, while overcoming a pain killer addiction and multiple surgeries to become the best of the world again. The amount of dedication required to overcome 8 major surgeries is nuts. Nobody on the planet would have blamed him if he said **** it and chilled the **** out on an island with his millions for the next 50 years. Instead dude is up at 3:45 in the morning to prepare to play a round of golf because he's that broken.

Flawed? Absolutely. Inspiring? Also absolutely.

I'm fine with not witch hunting or hating the guy. Treating him like he's heroic is weird though. Then again I don't do that with any celebrity really. It's just some disloyal human being that has many vices. Calm down.

Let's simply enjoy who we enjoy and stop the witch hunts and try to actively solve issues in the world. The End.

And nor should they. But sometimes we should forgive people and give them second chances or at least give them a chance to succeed in their occupation again.

I read that long article that came out a while back telling the Woods story, how he ran in combat boots and was a special forces jock sniffer because of his dad, etc. Was really interesting.

Ya that was a great read. Fascinating stuff. Somewhere along the line this guy definitely became wired differently. I guess you have to be in order to become that good at something.
