And I’ll just assume Hedman and Hagel will be there for game 1.

That doesn’t end the discussion, but coaches will need to manage a tough “next man up” situation. Guhle has to be massive.
 
During the Olympic selection discussions prior to the team being announced this past January, I actually heard Normand say that he would prefer Claude Giroux on the team over Suzuki for his defensive abilities.

The eventual Selke trophy winner. Think about that for a second.

Not quite.

We're 3v4 and Oilers are 6v7.

In a 1-8 format, we would have home ice advantage against the Bruins while Oilers would be on the road against the Wild.

In the East it's going to be 1v8, 2v5, 3v4, 6v7.
In the West it's 1v8, 2v3, 4v5, 6v7.
