Too much went well last year too fast , no need to put all the poker chips in the middle of table
 
Just as is, I believe this a 95-105 point team with good heath. Playoffs are a different story.

Not sustainable cap wise but should be great for this year.

I’m liking this trade a lot. Bolduc looks like he can have a Gally-like career, but with better physical tools.

Hutson proved he can perform in the nhl. Suzuki and Caufield did what I expect them to do the next 5 years. Slaf was just meh half of the year. Laine got hurt, Dach got hurt. Goaltending was average at best. It didn’t all go well.

Part of the reason getting him confused me.

But until Reinbacher is ready it is that or playing people out of position or putting dobson and Hutson together

Respectfully disagee to a degree

Monty played 60 games , he isn’t a workhorse player

Our bottom 6 outperformed our expectations by a wide margin scoring close to 100 goals , probably the biggest reason we got in the playoffs

Nobody expected Hutson to do this in year 1 , let’s keep it rolling

Dach is cooked and the lost emu is always hurt or something wrong with him

6 months ago we are looking at a top 5 pick , made an unexpected run for the final 40 games

Lets just breathe for a day and lets finish this rebuild and be a contender
 
The key was finding a partner that still valued Mailloux highly. There is bigger risk from the Blues' perspective, but if Mailloux can establish himself in the NHL, they'll be happy. For us it's a slam dunk, Mailloux was expendable and we get a really solid young player.

Dobson + Bolduc for 2 picks, Heineman and Mailloux is just beautiful work.
