Yesterday's game showed us that if Habs hope to one day win the Cup, you need more Guhle-type dmen on your roster. Big bodies that can check, and make opposing forwards think twice when entering our zone.
Sure Hutson had 2 assists yesterday, but playoff time is for guys like Guhle.

a D-corp with Guhle-Reinbacher is already a great start to any playoff series....you need those pillars on the back-end

Out of Hughes 8 adds to the roster, 5 are big and three are small.
DAch, Laine and Slaf and Heinneman Matheson

Hutson, Carrier , Newhook
The big guys other than Slaf and Hein have been useless. Matheson has been ok too.
The desire to get bigger is there for sure.
DAch and Laine can remain useful but they can not be the 4th and 5th best forwards on the team. More like 6th and 7th.
We need two BIG D as well one of them will be Reinbacher while the other has to be acquired.
Thats how you compete in the playoffs. It not out of the realm of possibility the missing pieces can be added given our abundance of assets to trade and upcoming cap room.

Habs are progressing nicely. We are still years away from being a legit contender.
We really are now at the point to try to add to the lineup through free agency and trades.
