And John Scott was certainly a very clean player one the ice.
Rhetorical....It's written right there in the post above yours.
Here's a telling quote from Scott that should give Habs fans pause. It's far more significant than anything he said about PK.
From Hockey Inside/Out:
"Scott also said in the TSN Radio 690 interview that he sensed a problem in the Canadiens locker room during his very short stint with the club and from talking with other players, saying it was “really dysfunctinal”, “quiet” and it “wasn’t a fun place to play hockey.”
I don't think much changed this past season, at least not until Therrien was fired. And I don't think that Julien is a cure-all for what ails this team. Pacioretty doesn't have the room's full attention or respect.

He was in the room for what two days at the end of a brutal season. Did he expect it to be a happy place?
The day I start to listen to what a guy who barely had time for a croissant and café au lait with us is the day I stop being a fan.

How come England, where fans are 10x crazier than here, don't mind having an Italian coach ?
I keep saying this about two decades.
I still don't think the fans care very much, especially the younger ones. It feels it's been created in big parts by the media, mostly because many of them don't speak English well.Because English fans don't have a inferiority complex. Their identity isn't threatened when they have a Italian coach.
Quebec and it's small minded under siege French is disappearing nonsense cannot accept a English coach.
I'm pretty sure French habs fans would rather lose with a French coach than win but have the habs become a little bit more English.
