I think the Vixplosion is not over yet, though I took some profits today

The secret for fiddly cent is that he takes that bet routinely. He loses it all most of the time but his profits on the occasional winner outweigh all his losses
 
Really? Where do you view him? Every trade I have seen him make, turns out great.

But I have only third party tracked for 6 months.
 
I did pick up some SPY calls, slightly green at the moment. But if we don't get a face ripper before noon. I'll bail.

I also added to XOM calls. Energy has been crushed; so looking for relief.

VIX is my atm. But man GLD is blunting my buzz.
 
I'm pretty sure we'll hear (in the next few days) about some big hedge fund or institution getting liquidated. The selling has been ridiculous.

Ballsy.

I keep expecting/waiting for the face ripping bounce. It'll come. Currently in a couple positions (commons, not options, but fairly substantial positions) with tight stops (got in the exact bottom of tight ranges). If it doesn't work out, that's fine, I'll keep trying until we get the bounce. But if it does, I reckon there will be fireworks. Like the risk-reward when I get perfect entries like this.

Bough another large batch of Baytex this morning .
 
Nasdaq went green. We'll see how it closes...but too many players assumed this Friday would be another red day. Only 1 green Friday in 2020 so far. The trap was set.
 
Me too. Sold as soon as I saw the insane bear volume after that bounce. Bull volume was not very significant the entire time up so I had my hand on the sell button. Didn't give up much from the top of the bounce. That one felt good. Really profitable.
 
You got me thinking yesterday with a contrarian play. I won't put any money on it, but end of day buying wouldn't shock me. I feel like it's going to be one of those moments where retail thinks they figured it out "oh no one will want to hold over the weekend so there will be selling EOD" and then they get their face ripped by big dick money.
