ceiling is tough. As a safe haven, it could hit all time highs around 1900 but if things get nasty, people liquidate their gold positions to make up their other losses
 
I don't have many bearish plays but I've never been more thankful I started playing some after that +4% rocket day last week. That shit is going to save my balls.

I still have quite a bit, including a YOLO position in VIX MAY 30 calls that cost me .50 cents. I sold enough to cover my initial investment. It could get slammed back to 0 or if shit hits the fan, explode to $20

Yeah I'm a far less active trader than you. Very passive investor dating back to a fuckton of years ago. So I'm just looking to give back as little gains as possible as I'm obviously way above water at this point. The plan is to use those gains on the bearish play to buy a bunch of shit on sale in the coming months.

As for your plays lately? Killer. Just killer.

that’s my plan too. Ride it down, selling along the way, with the intention of buying long dated calls in shit on sale. Much easier than watching these screens all day.

the best time to buy is when a lot of people start to believe the market is broken
 
SPY futures a few points away from being down 5% -- that's when they shut it down for a bit
 
Ringing the register for a nice gain on CDN Dollar short. Got to rest up for tomorrow.
