Good lord

This could be a dead cat bounce, bear trap, etc but it does seem like the industry found bottom and the scared money is coming back to check out the sales.

let me test out my gut feeling on this. I'll type a prediction.

up and down all day, i sense nervousness and hopeful bounceback but underlying skepticism. I think it drops pretty big again this aft.

For those so inclined, the Senate is having a televised discussion on the ganja bill this afternoon. It can be streamed on Cpac.ca

Do you think the Senate hearing today will have much of an impact depending on the direction it takes?

I tend to think that the risk of the government not making the July 1 deadline is priced in. So if the sentiment appears glowing and the Senate is roughly on time, there could be a bump from this, yeah.

If the "D"(elay) word is used even ****ing once though...I could see today's gains take the "D"(ick) in a hard way.

TNY move has nothing to did with Canada's Senate. They are getting closer to potentially becoming a successful California brand.

Market is fast and loose today as it tries to re-price various risk instruments. I still think the market has underpriced Trump risk (ie Mueller, spontaneous trade wars. NK jousting) so I kept part of my hedges and keep building up cash positions,

It's a cali company that doesn't always react like a cali company. It tends to ride with the Canadian market (at least partially because it's CSE symbol trades 10x the volume as it's pinx symbol) despite there being very little real world connection it the Canadian MJ industry.

With that said, I agree. I think this was a bounce after it took a beating despite some fairly major milestones being passed while shit was melting down. It was down 8% the day it announced it was a month away from Tinley 27 hitting store shelves in Cali ffs. This is just the delayed reaction from that imo.

Yeah I was just asking about the sector in general, not necessarily just TNY.

IMO, it's hard to say if we've seen the lows of the year yet. We'll see how many sellers show up after this bounce is complete.
