Hey Nerds: Blockchain

50/50 as I can see it going the other way as well (hard dump). Think of all the noobs trapped with calls expiring tomorrow. I've been in their shoes.
Yeah you're right. If I felt I knew what would happen I would make a play here. But making a play on action near close always feels like a gamble more than anything.

That was fun. I have so much work to do but fucking hell that was fun. I'm glued to my screen. We're not done dumping. These bounces are fucking horrendous by the bulls.

god bless you micro traders i hope you're riding these swings. I wish i was smart enough to.

because holy shit has this post-memo day bubble and all the other recent bubbles been just complete baseless bullshit. the market is an emotional bi-polar wreck right now, just like the rest of the country.

I'm not a very active trader these days but today was a blessing from our lord and mother fucking savior. THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH!!!

Agreed god bless how CH1 , Preston and others navigate this fukced up shit show

They deserve medals , I would be dizzy looking at screens

From yesterday

I wish I understood this stuff about support levels. Like why is that number so important. Why would a market with millions of traders doing their own thing all start acting a certain way when the S&P or Dow falls below a certain number or moves above a certain number? I'm a stock picker and don't do ETFs so I'm knowledgeable about the stocks I'm watching and where the levels they trade at, but I'm never focused on whether the S&P is at a certain number. The only way that affects me is when they are up or down by a lot, like today, when I back off because everything is falling. But whether it falls below a certain specific number would never impact me, so why would it impact millions of others who have their own different agendas when trading or investing?

are you permanently glued to the screens or do you get out for a few hours to recharge ?
Depends on the day. I've been not very active since spx got over 3000. That's where I differ with ch1. I got my big winners riding shit up and didn't want to give anything back. Turns out I still should have played bullish but whatever.

As for today? Up until a half hour ago? Glued to my screen. All day. These types of days are mostly once a year or five type of days though.

And normally this is where I'd jump in to grab some stuff I've been looking at - in fact, it probably would've been a couple of hours ago. And then I'd sit and get annoyed that what I bought kept falling, as per my usual. So I'm trying to be super against my nature patient right now.

Also CH - the reason I asked about EA the other day is that I bought a good chunk like 2 years ago to hold long and fucking immediately it tanked and aside from flirting a little bit with the level where I bought it, refused to come back. I refused to sell it until I recouped without a loss, so we were at a stalemate. Two years of dead money in a stock that pays nothing and refuses to appreciate. Then last week it briefly hit my breakeven of $124.27 and crossed it by A PENNY and then immediately dropped down like $5-$6 bucks in the ultimate cocktease move. But yesterday, it crossed finally and I sold it at literally a few bucks profit. I promised myself not to get greedy and force a good profit out of it, even if it went up a few bucks more (which it did this morning, the fucker). But I sold it and freed up that dead money, which was a huge day. So normally I'd be looking to put it to work in a falling market, but I'm trying to stay idle for a bit.
