Yeah...I can't stand the guy but his network sends him good ideas, so I cherry pick from those

as for SLV, he was one of many pounding the table. I'm usually suspicious when something is so consensus but SLV was so cheap, downside was limited

I love his college football parlays; they are laughably insane

I thought it was consensus until I read WSB. They fucking laugh at SLV and think it's ridiculous to buy. That ultimately made me feel better about my decision to go heavy on it.

Story stocks can be very profitable....I totally missed KODK (up another 120% this am) but some folks on fintwit were chirping about it days ago when it went for $2 to $5. Now $17.

It's hard to know what's a pump and dump and what's a legit pump. More often than not, you get burned by following fintwit story stocks. But you're right.. Occasionally they pay.

As for me, I specialize in a particular sector and do quite well in it. My success rate when veering elsewhere is substantially lower. Plus it helps avoid FOMO when I see shit like TESLA do 5000% and I miss out on it. I was never going to realistically buy in March so I don't feel like I missed out.
 
I rarely indulge, and when I do, I allocate a small % of emotional and financial capital to these plays. I'm playing HMHC because it's easy to control risk in that ticker.
 
I have a weird feeling Aphria recovers today. We're in the midst of a strong, borderline euphoric time for pot stocks and the earnings, while not great compared to MSOs are clearly a step or three above every other LP.

Disclaimer: I still think they suck and I suck at playing LPs so for that reason I'm out. But I'm interested in following the action.

yep...was thinking the same...not playing it as I have a lot of other pot stocks

did buy calls in IIPR this am

and FUTU calls (Chinese brokerage)

still holding SPX puts as hedge

KODK halted at $27 + $19
 
bot AMD calls when it dipped to 74.05, stop at 73.90 (low of the day)
 
mostly done for the dat; will be nursing winners in my trading account; and pruning relative weakness in my RRSP as I want to build up a bigger cash position in my long term account
 
more selling of AMD calls +60%...will ride the rest and move my stop
 
yep.. weed and gold trades consolidating....TER trying to make sub 4 a distant memory

pro tip: APT (mask maker from Markham) tends to go up on Wed/Thurs. I noticed that 3 weeks in a row now.
