Hey Nerds: Blockchain

Trulieve might go green today. This sector is bonkers right now. Which makes me scared in all honesty. Euphoria scares me. Though I feel like retail hype isn't anywhere close to the LP bull runs of the past. This feels almost institutionally driven.

CURA has definitely had the most muted euphoria -- perhaps that gets corrected.

Overall the sector is bonkers (as you say) but the trend is our friend, and I'm not doing much selling as I'd rather give up some gains than miss out on upside. Bonkers can always go more bonkers. Especially if big money wants in.

Yup. I'm just shuffling my shit around mostly to maximize my gains based on laggards and whatnot. If CURA and Thumb can reach blue sky territory, that's where things get really exciting for me. Not too close to that but I feel like CURA has catching up to do. Doesn't mean they have to catch up.. But the potential is there. Hence, my largest position. About double my second largest at the moment (which is Thumb who I feel have nice potential too as they have been fairly slow movers compared to TRUL lately).

speaking of bonkers; look at GRWG (supplier of hydroponics/organic soil). Sold another piece today. Keeping 100 shares.

Curaleaf getting a swiggity sweet move on here. Already added some CURA profits into GTII Friday under $21 and TRUL today at 31.60. Still not quite the position size I once had on TRUL as I sold higher on Friday but I don't mind using my profits to buy as opposed to hoarding even MORE cash.

But anyway CURA has the short-term upside here IMO. Hoping they beat expectations.

Just noticed some pretty respected fintwitters started a position in GRWG, citing impressive growth numbers, great founders, and favorable sector.

So, happy to keep my core position. The amount I'm holding is << than the profit I made on the shares I sold.

Only listed on Nasdaq so never on my radar. Solid find. DD is a hell of a thing sometimes.

I still can't figure out AYR.A. The stock volume is paltry; people just buy the warrants (that's what I have)

The SPX is about to make all time highs; and there's very little hype. And very little bearishness/worry. The middle of August are the dog days when nobody can be bothered to have strong opinions about the market. Pot stocks are the only things keeping me awake.

Honestly there's even very little retail hype in MJ comparatively speaking. This bull run feels so so different than previous ones in the sector. I'm still being insanely cautious but this feels a lot like tutes quietly getting into the sector before retail holds their bags.

yep....i'll buy the dips (if they happen)....to think the sector (MSO) came of age during a pandemic...

I'll start getting really concerned when pot stocks become the hot mainstream topic like they were during the LP bull runs. That always freaks me the fuck out.

all our incessant hype can't even get LOF or Habsy to invest in pot stocks, so we're good for a while before the freakout happens

I am debating it, to be honest. Not quite there yet. But you said TRUL was the best one, so I've added to my list and am sorta watching how it moves. But it seems like it's run up so much over the last little bit, and I rarely rarely ever like to buy anything at its high. So I'm kinda thinking about what I might do if it falls to $20, $18, something like that.

Also Slack is now officially pissing me off and I'm concerned I might get fucked at the next earnings. I obviously wish I sold it a few dollars ago and could just watch from the sidelines.

Record Second Quarter Pro Forma Revenue(1)(2)of $165.4 Million and Record Second Quarter Managed Revenue(1)of $121.4 Million;
Record managed revenue of $121.4 million, which grew 120% year-over-year and 16% sequentially, despite estimated $25.6 million revenue related impact from COVID-19 largely in Nevada and Massachusetts

Big beat. Pretty impressed overall. Boris already said that they're looking at potentially 30% growth next quarter. Nevada and Mass being down in Q2 was killer. Q3 will be eye popping for them and Thumb.

Another 25% to ATH. I say it happens.
