Hey Nerds: Blockchain

That was the kind of close that is going to make my weekend a lot better.

Fucking yes. I love you drugs

Truly. Without Covid the market probably has a down year.
Nothing creates historic bullish opportunities more than a crisis. Happens every single crisis. As I said months ago it's very important to stay laser focused as a trader/investor and drown out the noise and fud.

I can't be the only one happy that full legalization isn't happening soon...the extra time gives my investment companies to keep building their respective moats and more importantly, maintain their ridiculous margins.

Full legalization eventually means that big Booze and Tobacco companies can flood the market with inexpensive product.

Give me fair access to banking, rather than 100% legalization.

Yeah been saying that for years. These companies will potentially be worth upwards of 20+ billion in a few years. If legalization happened today, big money would swallow these guys for far less. Premiums compared to their current valuation, but nothing compared to what they will become in the next 5-10 years. Of course, that's assuming that legalization makes it impossible to flood the market and the same tight restrictions that we have in most states will continue. If it's open season then yeah, that's a whole other issue.

And when you're growing 100% per year it's hard to really want change, even if the perception is that the change will yield stronger results.

Yeah, not saying legalization would = immediate open season, but as we all know, the market looks ahead, so the day when weed is just another commodity like tobacco would slowly start to be priced in...

For now, the best combo for us= restrict the movement of product, but not the flow of capital. Give us NASDAQ listings and banking.

Yeah either way legalization is not the best way forward for these companies. It's a far different story than it was in Canada a few years ago. I do think big alcohol and tobacco will pay huge amounts for the Curaleafs and thumbs of the world once things go legal, but the longer that takes, the more time these companies have to grow. And they can legitimately command a huge huge amount if big alcohol/tobacco attempt to swallow them.

Uplisting is the ultimate catalyst. Once that comes these will no longer be the market inefficiencies as they are today.
