Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I predict it's one of the first to get bought out
They're fairly new to the game and just building out. I don't think they prefer getting taken out before they expand fully but there's a price for everything and based on what LHS got bought out for it's clear that Florida licenses are at premium.

good point..

Can't zoom in enough to see the foods listed, but I'd definitely put myself in the rabbit class. Wish he wouldn't be standing so gay and wearing pink shorts, but I'll ignore his leanings.

I'd like to be wolf but that requires far more commitment to gym stuff than I'm willing to make.

No interest in being lion either then, and highly doubt my lean body type could ever even morph into bear.

Big props and thanks for bringing this ticker to my attention.

Also, slightly less thanks to LOF for not buying any shares of these BS penny stocks.

also, I did sell a big chunk of TNY to help fund other purchases

it's currently dead money, highlighted by the fact that it didn't even participate in this week's cannabis fest.

Honestly, I can't follow along. I don't know when you guys are saying a pot stock is bad or good. Half the time the comments seem to be in jest.

I did notice late last night that TRUL was down to $32 in postmarket trading and wasn't sure if it was a mistake. I thought maybe if it touched $30 again that would be an entry point to just finally buy something you guys are always rambling on about. Wish I did it at $17 only a few months back. That would give me my fill. Then the rest of this penny stock stuff I'd just ignore.

They seemed to bottom out when I bought so the timing was good and all but I was no doubt helped by the LHS deal. That's what really got the party started and pushed up my price target. And then the GA runoff pushed it up even more. Was happy to bottom fish a name that was unfairly beaten down despite putting up solid numbers but there was a lotta luck involved there as well.

A word of caution: They aren't desperately in need of cash, but they could use some to build out. They will probably raise at some point in the near future. Would be wise, but may see short-term pain when it happens. Continue to take them profits.

Jay Z stock may be the safest bet around to not dilute in the near future. Best capitalized cannabis company on the planet!

By the way, you should want me to buy in, at which point you load up even more, and then we rise together.

You think too short term. Need to infuse some more longjohn into your strategies.

We all have different strategies. I wouldn't just blindly buy what two people on a hockey message board buy. You do you, LOF. You do amazingly well anyway despite our joking around.

Hedgeye, Alan Brochstein, Betting Bruiser and now Toddo are all into SVC. I am very giddy about them heading into next week. Monday and Tuesday will be write-offs but after that all bets are off.

All this volume has me feeling that smart money is buying heavy while SPAC arbitragers are just unloading their commons.

agreed. just having fun. I simply tell folks what I'm doing -- they obviously need to do their own research before committing their hard earned cash.

it just seems tooo easy....spider senses tingling, then again, pot stocks are often guilty of being obvious

Yeah that's what has me hesitant. It really really really all checks out though. The company is legitimately undervalued by a good 50-60%. It's like being able to buy Verano now at a 2.8b market cap (or even less). First day it trades it will fly above that. Unless there's some deep hidden mischievous scam going on I think this MAY be as easy as it looks. I don't think Jay Z would ruin his brand to get involved in some scam shit..

I've dug into this one deeper than I dig into anything and I haven't found a single red flag. A lot of smart people on the twitters seem to concur. I guess we'll see.

yeah....I just get uneasy where everyone is on the same side of the boat.

I have a decent sized position in it, so definitely bullish on it.

In any case, even ignoring the weird warrant-arbitrage SPAC action, it hasn't moved in months while every other cannabis play did 5 trillion %. As a pure laggard play it's a good one IMO.

I quickly looked it up on the SPAC subreddit the other day and people are not a fan of this one. But anything weed stock related has a certain stigma around it to most investors. They don't take them seriously. There's a niche group of fanboys that are increasing in size on twitter, but other than that it hasn't been too wild. Much like MSOs and their fanboys... They can be loud, but it's not a significant amount of people.
