Hey Nerds: Blockchain

You kidding? This was some of the most entertaining crap on the boards lately. We need it with the snorefest the season is so far.

LOF just join us. This is an easy no brainer investment, even if you don't go heavy. I don't like that you're not involved in our fun. Idc about the lof buy=selloff algorithm. It's all temporary.

Yeah...even we lose all our money invested in cannabis (.00001 chance that happens), that would be less annoying than fielding questions about the merits of TRUL vs GTII every two weeks.

I’m very very seriously considering it. I just haven’t really said anything because I’m still stuck. I’m thinking based on all your guys’ lectures that an even split between Trul and Thumb is the way to go. Rather than MSOS. Ya?

You just got your final question on the subject. Promise.

So the conclusion here is that they’ll have a GME moment and then crash because the states won’t be aligned with the feds?

it's all speculation..but one that I've shared here before.

Barring an overall market crash...we just need a flat to slightly down market for this to play out, but at some point, soonish, marijuana stocks will go apeshit because they are trading at Campbell Soup valuations, even though they are growing like Crowdstrike

People will bid them up like crazy, beyond what they are worth, because that's how bubbles work. They get divorced from their actual value both on the upside and downside.

I honestly don't mind your questions, but like Presto said, this would be more fun

And you’re selling everything at that perceived high, in anticipation of a fall?

Honestly my fear is I just don’t know or love the sector in a personal way, and if it goes to shit I’m gonna be so mad at myself. But I’ve just been so immersed in your pot talk that the need to join is overpowering my reluctance.

If you don't have conviction don't do it. Selfishly I want it because it's fun but it has to make sense to you.

And my fear is the opposite of yours. I'm too close to the sector as I'm clearly obsessive in my research. Makes me question myself and wonder if it really is as easy as it looks because I actively look for potential risks and often come up empty. Hard to step away and look at things objectively but I really try to see both sides.

I see it as likely being a no-brainer, with Trul’s numbers when I looked being crazy. Maybe the only thing keeping me back at this moment is that I had the chance to buy at $17 not long ago and now I’d be buying in at 2x more. But then, I didn’t buy Uber at $20 because I saw it at $12, and now look.

1 -it's business,
and
2 - I don't get the lack of love. These companies are growing at 50% y over y, selling a fucking plant that grows like a weed, at a ridiculous high margin while facing legal based (but temporary) barriers such as high cost of capital (15% interest rates), and high corporate taxes.

and best of all most of the big Wall St institutions are not invested in this high growth sector because of legal/compliance issues

this might be the only time in your life where you, as an individual investor, has a discernible advantage over Wall Street Insiders.
