Hey Nerds: Blockchain

NOW?? We should have gone in together when I raised it months ago!!

sure....but looking back never made me $$....I think it has legs (provided the market holds up)

thesis: everyone is a trader in 2021...not just stocks, but sports cards, collectables...something for everyone, even grandma who's flipping old corning wear sets for $1000/pop

eBay is just another stock market...plus chart looks fantastico

and stock barely went down today

doesn't mean stock will rise tmrw but ROKU simply obliterated earnings expectations...their growth is on steroids

" In 2020, we grew ARPU by $5.62 year-over-year to $28.76 (trailing 12-month basis). ARPU growth was driven by increased per-user engagement, as well as our continued investments in our channel distribution, content promotions, billing and advertising capabilities."

I hate buying at highs dammit! Especially for an older name.

It's one thing when I bought CRWD on the way up, but EBAY needs to be bought at a discount!

NJ still in play

I mean...

We're looking at a market that is 75% of Canada at stake here. NJ legalizes, NY legalizes too. And our giant mega multi billion dollar corporations basically have a stranglehold on both states. 2 states. 75% of Canada.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Perpetual under-promisers, over-deliverers. Still report in CAD and obviously you know how I feel about their revenues compared to the big boys, especially at current valuations.

But can't argue with those margins. Profitability is insanely impressive and if they get NJ they'll be in real good shape. Can't help but be excited for what's to come in the coming weeks on all the names who report.

In the NR they mention expansion projects in California that led to the growth and I just wonder how much of their growth was from California and how profitable was it? I wish they had better disclosure on the specifics because California is a very intriguing fucking market just based on sheer size. If that continued to grow in Q4 and show some form of profitability things could be looking real interesting across the board. Cresco has cited California as one of their biggest growth markets at least for last quarter so I'm curious to see if that continues and whether that means just revenue growth or is there some contribution to EBITDA as well?

Hey @CH1 get your questions in on the AMA! There's a sad, pathetic number of questions so far. Weedstocks ain't exactly the most MSO friendly of places it seems. People don't seem to give much of a fuck.

$DKNG DraftKings shares are trading higher after Oppenheimer maintained an Outperform rating on the stock and raised its price target from $65 to $80.

Jason was quietly my largest pot stock position after yesterdays sociopathic Presto dip buying.

I just trimmed some in case it fades (as it usually does after hot opens), though I still have plenty. Monday could/should be fun at the very least.

Dropped right after I sold. Saw it struggle with 10.75 and bailed. Seen this movie before on them. Still hope it blasts through but I'm doubtful.

I think you guys have mentioned before, but do you hold these stocks in your RRSPs? I would need to make a pretty significant contribution to RRSPS to reduce a big chunk of tax owing for 2020. I'm debating between that and just dumping more into my TFSA, which I still have some room in, and biting the bullet on paying the tax.
