Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I almost wish the dems took it a little slower. Just get SAFE locked in and done first. Something so intensive this might take another year to muster out.

it depends how they proceed....

it's conceivable that they start with a super ambitious kitchen sink plan, then read the room to see what's actually possible

we kind of forget given the Trump years, but that's how these types of bills are negotiated

Fuck it, merge with Thumb. Thumb barely has Florida operations. Their limited stores sell well because their products are terrific as usual but they put no energy into it... Two most profitable and well run cannabis companies combined? Yeah, fuck it, let's do it live and dream big.

Yeah you're right. Start off asking for the moon and settle on safe, states with a lil ability to uplist sprinkled in.

that merger has been at the back of my mind for ages

After Presto basically soured me on it! Now I feel like because it might hold some trash and whatever that 20% rule is, that it's not a good buy? I've never liked or bought ETFs before, so this feeds my bias.

I was stalking Thumb and Trul though. Thumb I'm hesitant to buy at all time highs. And Trul I almost bought, it was hovering at a number in the low $39s that would've resulted in my getting a nice round number of shares, and it fucking went up and didn't come back. So annoying.

We cannot press the actual keys for you.

signed with affection,
Presto

In a perfect world these companies had another 5, 10 years to build out and grow to new heights but they probably won't have that opportunity anymore. Time to think outside the box and fucking hell that would be some fucking powerhouse corporation.

I don't hate the ETF. In fact I got two of my friends in on it just last week. I simply outlined the negatives. It's not the best way to play the sector but it's infinitely better than not playing it at all.

To add fuel to the fire, thumb had an expansion project in Florida that was scheduled for late last year. I don't know if it's covid related or if there's fuel to the ch1-presto baseless rumor fire but that did not happen to the best of my knowledge.

LOF: Bottom line, when you're barefoot and need a pair of shoes, don't spend so much time worrying about the laces

If the cannabis bubble arrives, it really won't matter what you buy.

case in point, Presto might be right in dissing MSOS for holding IIPR...but IIPR went up 4% (to $195) today...because institutions want exposure to the sector and that stock is 100% compliant (they don't touch the plant)

But an equal mix of GTII and TRUL works too, throw in some JayZ in there, so we know you got a bit of an edge to your game

Yup. IIPR and GRGW is a way for big boys to play the sector right now. Those simply aren't then prizes for me whenever we get to the bubble point.

But I do look at them and I look at their valuations... And all I want is a mother fucking uplist. Because my goodness those are valued ridiculously all because of the exchange they're on.

Maybe the Georgia runoff was a surprise...but 6 months ago a Dem Senate was at least a coin flip, so it's not like the CEOs of these companies have not prepared for the current regulatory climate they find themselves in

That's why I'm disappointed in Kim. She waited too long imo.

Kim did get those West Virginia licenses, tho

In all seriousness, I think she has something big up her sleeve #ImWithKim
