Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I always wondered what the end game was for the WSB crowd holding the stock...eventually more people are gonna sell than buy and the price is going to tank. Someone is going to be left out in the cold.

Oh deepfuckingvalue is still crushing it. But I was promised $1000. And I'm not seeing it so that makes presto sad.

It might have another spike or two...but more than likely it flattens out and withers away from the zeitgeist

Hopefully some of those folks sold some shares to get their initial money back, even if they were holding most for the $1000 dream.

This is where it falls apart. Holders lose trust in the movement, feel betrayed and sell!

there was no movement; like Josh Brown said in the TikTok link I posted, it was a fun, populist Ponzi scheme...and while a few hedge funds got hurt, most of them sold the likes of AMC, KOSS, and BBBY at prices they never would have imagined were possible.

That's what I mean. This is how it was always going to end. They realize they've been played and are left carrying the bag.

Oh of course. The degenerate that I know said he isn't selling a single share till 800. He was up almost a Milly. Well now he's close to breakeven. Ouch.

He's still convinced in 1000. Weird cult.

yikes...see, I'm not emotionally hard wired for that...

for me:
the pain of seeing a big gain collapse >> than the pain of seeing a big gain happen without me

so, I'll never make legendary tendies on one trade....because, at best, I'll only have a small position left after a giant gain (having sold chunks all the way up)

That's not me either. Only time I even balls deep and use all the cash I hoard is when I get significant dips on value names. I need to be convinced that even if I don't time the bottom I'll be laughing later. And to do that I buy value very convincingly. If msos were trading at a trillion dollar market cap I'm probably not gonna be holding many shares by then....

Anyway that guy is just really convinced in the movement. For a lot of people it's a cult that's not unlike the trumper/qanaon wackos. They convinced themselves that it's going to 1000. Crazy to have that kind of conviction when you're holding millions worth of a clearly overvalued stock.

Yeah, it’d be one thing if GME was a clinical trial away from eradicating cancer but <check notes> they are a low margin retailer

When the entire gambit is a tactical assault on greedy shorts that overstepped their leverage, one would think the other side would be mindful of overstaying their welcome in a fabulous trade
