Good news for me and Worm. Edmonton is getting all sports talk radio back beginning September 5th on AM 1440, a station in nearby Wetaskiwin AB that is owned by Stingray.

I tried streaming the Montreal tsn station. Holy shit that was bad.

I only really listen to and from work twice a week.

Melnyk's show is the only part of that station worth listening to. Everything else, though? Throw that shit in the bin and close up shop.

I go to the website and cherry pick the pundits I want to listen to. But trying to listen live is excruciating. Aside from Melnick that station is hella bad.
 
Like, virtually anybody worth their salt in that world has gone to podcasting. It's independent, you have more control and it's more lucrative.

Even the Marinaro's all but gone semi-exclusively into podcasting with his legion of single cell organisms he calls "fans".

Eric Macemella (sp?) is what is on for my morning commute. And random stuff in the afternoon.

Took me some time to realize sea of Montreal was actually CF Montreal though.
