Hockey Trading Block

Re: Trading Block

You can always have some preliminary talks and see if any assets or price you are willing to pay match up

Yeah, well heres the thing.

Without trying to boast, I think I have one of the deeper, if not the deepest blue line corps in the league. Look at it in a fp/g perspective:

Byfuglien (1.22), Wisneiwski (1.05), Bogosian (1), Beauchemin (0.94), Bouwmeester (0.93), Brewer (0.88), and Gardiner (0.85).

So right now, I am sitting with either Gardiner or Brewer as a #7. I need to upgrade W and C more than D, so really I am only able to do a 1 for 1 or prospect and Dman. And really, the only dmen I would consider moving at this point, are Beauch, Bouw and Brewer, which really, is not enough to deal for Fowler, imo.

Re: Trading Block

Gardiner is going to be a 1.0+ FP/G defender in this format very soon too. You probably have the best defence corps in the league all things considered.

Re: Trading Block

Bogo really turned it on at the end of the year too. Not that I expect him to fully match his production once I acquired him, but he was a 1.2 fp/g player since the trade with TH.

Re: Trading Block

The only real question marks are whether Byfuglien and Wisniewski can stay healthy for a whole season.

Re: Trading Block

First overall pick is attracting interest, would consider moving down or possibly trading straight up for a roster player. (Not interested in later picks in this year or next years draft FWIW).

Re: Trading Block

I'm putting a hold on offers for the #1 pick, thanks to everyone who has inquired.

Likely going to just use the pick, but may revisit closer to the draft.

Re: Trading Block

Would be nice if we can get the expansion draft out of the way and get rosters up to date, before too many more trades are made. It is going to get more and more confusing.

At some point I will be looking to add a defenceman. Open to any offers, but these guys are currently on the trading block: Derek Roy, Patric Hornqvist, Mikael Backlund, Dany Heatley, Craig Smith.

Re: Trading Block

Well gents, I've responded to everything I'm responding to for the night, I'm in Alberta pulling 12 hour shifts and need my sleep. I may or may not be able to check in tomorrow before 7 est.

Re: Trading Block

Looking to upgrade a W and C.

Willing to listen to offers on:

Hodgson (value him much higher than his fp/g last year; traded Hossa for him, so keep that in mind)
Little (willing to get a little older to get better, was a ~0.95 fp/g c/w)
Wheeler (same as Little, willing to get a little older to get better, ~ 1 fp/g last year)

Prospects available:
Sgarbossa
Holland
Barberio

Lol, was trying to figure out why I got all these messages for the #2 pick.
