Holiday Hockey TV Schedule COVID Edition (WJC, Raptors)

U19 WJC Dmen (since 1990)
1. Karlsson - 1.50 ppg
2. Erik Johnsson - 1.43
3. Ellis - 1.33
4. Trouba - 1.29
5. Werenski - 1.29
Juolevi - 1.29
7. Niemela - 1.17
Ellis - 1.17
9. Forsling - 1.14
Romanov - 1.14
Provorov - 1.14

Its just 6 games, but mostly good NHL dmen on that list, aside from Juolevi who played that tournament with the Laine-Aho-Puljujarvi line, and Forsling.

He looks like a legit prospect.

The Leafs have 3 guys in the top 20 in scoring, which no other team does. And their best U20 prospect was held out. #pipeline.

Good thing Dubas went out and acquired all those extra picks to restock the cupboards. Looks like they’ve been put to good use.

A bunch of our 2020 picks flat-out look like legit prospects so far, and there isn’t anyone who immediately looks like a bust, like the Keaton Middletons of the world that Hunter picked.

Got in on a USA regulation win at +525

Ya thats a big payout even if Canada is the favourite.

I thought the Finns outplayed the U.S., but the U.S. has a handful of guys with elite skill and that's all you need to have a chance in hockey. Will be tougher against Canada, but I could see them playing rope-a-dope and capitalizing on their chances for a win. And that powerplay looks lethal. Definitely doesn't seem like a +525 mismatch.

You can't deny that USA struggled to win while Canada coasted. As long as they continue to play as they can and not underestimate the Americans they should win by at least 2 goals. I'm thinking they win by 3.

I'm not denying anything. I would put Canada as heavy favourites. But this is one game of hockey, the sport with the most luck involved. And the U.S. is still a good team. I don't think Canada is a 6:1 favourite, so I'm just saying I like the odds he got.

Yeah, great odds but that usually means heavy underdogs and a waste of money. If Levi falters and Knight plays well they have a shot. Otherwise I just don't see it.

He's a C for now.

Not sure where he'd slot in the NHL. But he's starting to some more puck handling confidence tonight. Creating some nice space and chances a few times now.

USA needs Canada to take a heap of dumb penalties to win this game on special teams. If Canada can keep feet moving and emotions in check - should win
