Well, there's our goalie.
 
Steep price, so hopefully they are right.

If we are throwing out a 1st I'd have rather gone after Bishop.

Yeah, my initial reaction is that I'm not thrilled with it. Yet again, we trade a 1st round pick for someone else's "maybe" in net.

Hopefully this time, our management group's right.
 
Ahhh, ****, and we added a 2017 2nd rounder to the deal too.

Not a fan of this at all.
 
Yeah this is the first move Shanny and Co have made that I don't like. Although it certainly makes the team better.

Could've just resigned Reimer.
 
Wow, steep price.

He's big, mid 20's, with decent stats over a somewhat small sample size. I guess they're betting on him being Bishop in Ottawa at this point in his career, and we're Tampa. Hope they're right.

.930 in the AHL, .940 in SEL, .930 Denmark

So far in the NHL he has been around the .918

So at least he has a good track record.
 
23rd in NHL in even strength save percentage over the last 2 years.

He's also only 3 years younger than Bishop.
 
I could see them thinking to take a goalie with the Pitts pick anyway but it is a huge crapshoot in the draft and hopefully Lou's evaluation is as good as it has been
