I’m with you, pretty skeptical overall, but at least he made a move for non-junk, and a proven playoff stud. High upside for a run. And he didn’t give away guys like Knies and Minty for them. So, I’m sort of just cautiously optimistic, not too excited though.

More I look at it, the more I think there’s another deal coming. Dubie got the depth with this move out of the way. I think he’s shopping around now for top line scoring that he’d move Kerf and Holl to free up space if the target can be had. He could actually recoup some decent picks through them, and then trade prospects and those picks in the other deal.
