Leafs/Habs/Sens 2014-15

I read the thread. I'll jump in if I ever have anything to say.

I don't really feel like talking smack for the sake of talking smack. I'm just happy they're in and obviously I want them to win.

The Habs have some world class players, and they are where they are because of them.

I certainly don't think it will be a cakewalk.

... especially without lube. lol!
No, it won't be a cakewalk, and you can't rest on past victories or even regular season dominance (I thought the other Sens posters would have figured that out by now?? oh well...)
Cheers to making it in under the wire, and have a great series. I'm sure most of the Leaf fans will be watching this series... in between holes, that is...

Sens restricting access to tickets eh? hehe
Can't say that I blame them too much---it must suck knowing that there's a very good chance the Habs could essentially play in front of their "home crowd" seven times in this playoff series. It's still pretty funny though, and all of the measures they take to restrict ticket sales are pretty futile in the internet age.

What requirement is there to restrict access, do you have to tell them you're a Sens fan? Do you have to refer to Eugene as the great and powerful, Overseer?

I think they require that you sign on to Eugene Melnyk's team of private investigators.

I hear he's still got people following Matt Cooke around.

Sure but it looks really bush league.

It's not bush league, it's the reality of being stuck in the middle between the Leafs and Habs.

Trying to make sure they are in the majority and that their fans get access is just smart business practice.

BTW, games sold out in an hour. Will be interesting to see what the mix ends up being.

Last time these teams met, the Sens had a week lead up to the games before their opponent was set and our fans filled the building. This time, I'm betting on a 70-30 split. The city is buzzing about the Sens, well as buzzing as Ottawa gets ;) so I think you'll see the crowd as solidly Sens.

Won't be any fun for the Habs fans either way, as the Sens are going to crush them.

being stuck between two superior products is kinda the definition of bush league, isn't it?

In all seriousness, can't wait for this series. It is gonna be sweet.

They did this in the last series as well and it was very successful. All they are doing is allowing credit cards with purchasers in the Ottawa area codes.

No argument from me. Tickets will go quickly and this gives all of the Ottawa fans a better chance to get them. Montreal is so close it's just a proximity thing.

Still doesn't qualify as bush league. Ottawa the city as well as its franchise are kinda the spitting image of the word. It's uncanny really.
