Beck's Memorial Cup is almost over already. The Peterborough Petes have lost their first two games.

You know man, I'm going to say this in all sincerity and in an attempt to evoke thought in you, it's never too late to enjoy the rest of your life.

Since Stinky is licensed and can't say this I will, you look for the negative and downside in almost everything which says to people that you feel like you're a failure and have to find the fail in others. Deny all you want but that's what people see. When your enjoyment is derived from misery, you're miserable and we know misery breeds company.

The key in your life is to recognize that you are doing this and facing it. Believe me man, boulders off your existence. The key isn't to be comfortable with yourself, we already know you aren't and you're just lashing out, it's to learn to be comfortable with yourself while others are comfortable around you and your surroundings dude.

People can mock all they want and call zen and that's awesome. I'm telling you there's a path. I'm telling you I fucking finally found it. I'm telling you to start looking.

Do it for nobody other that yourself.

You read waaay too much into what I say in this board. I enjoy my life just fine and I'm way more optimistic and less argumentative than I was when I first got engaged with social media. I've mellowed a lot, actually.

My general cynicism is something I was born with. Every silver lining has a cloud. I'm not often proven wrong when assuming the worst.

As a kid I lived in Oshawa and spent many Sunday nights at the Civic Auditorium cheering for the Generals. If you're a Gens fan, the team you hate above all others (at least back then) was the Petes. It was like Habs-Bruins. For me, the Petes may as well be the Leafs. I'll root for whatever team is playing against them.

For me to care about a sport, I need to have an object to hate. Being indifferent to an opponent means you don't really care. For me it's easy. If a league has a team from Toronto in it, I instantly have something on which to focus my hate. If Toronto ever got an NFL team, the Cowboys would be instantly relegated to my second most hated team.

I don't watch soccer for many reasons but a big one is that I don't care about any of the teams.one way or the other. I'm indifferent. The only time that changes is when the World Cup is on and I can cheer against England and Italy, not because I give a shit about soccer, but because I love trolling their entitled fanbases.

But I have no issues with happiness. I just get my kicks differently than you. And if what you do works for you great. But I never had the kind of anger issues you've alluded to having and I can count the number of times I've come to blows with anyone on the fingers of one hand. It's practically zero since I became a legal adult. I don't get that wound up. Never have. I push buttons but I don't get my buttons pressed because my secret weapon is not really caring that much.

Me? I'm like Stadler and Waldorf. I just toss grenades around for fun.
 
This is where not giving a shit pays. I never blamed Bergevin for this pick because it was far and away the BPA.
 
Yeah, but he was undone by early regime drafts and some very stupid contracts.

His undoing, in part, was his loyalty to Timmins.

Edit: to be fair, Bergevin made some decent trades.
