Give it a month and Shit for Brains will be on the 2nd unit. Might be nice for Markov to concentrate on d (and not have to skate so much )

Still have more points than any centre on this team in the last 3 seasons. Best differential as well. Pretty good for a guy you like to bash, heh?

Hey, if you think DD as the #1 centre on our team is a good thing and can bring us the cup that's on you...

No one proved on this team to be a better option so far, am I right or not? Not a flash of 1 preseason game that will make Galchenyuk a no.1 centre.

lol

I guess you think that Desharnais got all those assists because Pacioretty carried the puck from the end zone, dangle, beat everyone up and scored his 39 goals all by himself...

You don't think Max would score with AG as his centre?

Given their age and salaries and potential return, I'd rather trade Plekanec. I'd rather have two offensive centers in the lineup than two defensive centers.

Pleks is still a solid offensive contributor. His numbers are not far off from DD the last 3 years.

He gets his points but I feel that this aspect of his game has really dropped in the past few years. He never seem to develop any chemistry with his wingers anymore, and I don't expect this trend to reverse. I will predict that DD gets way more points than Plekanec in the next 3 years.

Put both on the market and Pleks gets multiple offers... certainly more than DD.

I have no issue with DD since he finally snapped out of his funk last year. I thought he was okay in the playoffs and like someone said earlier it is okay to have a couple of small guys up front so long as you don't have the 4-5 we have had in the past few years. I would prefer to have Tavares in the line-up as the #1 centre but it hasn't happened yet so DD it is.

MB has made quite a few changes since arriving here and I have zero doubt he would love to upgrade his #1 center spot and in time it will be done but for now, just like last year, we have a team that can battle in the weak eastern conference with or without a stud centerman... which just might be # 27 next year.

Name one franco that people like on this board that played for the Habs. In recent years.

I can't think of one I didn't like. Hell I even like James Franco's little brother Dave and most people don't even know who he is.
