Michel Therrien

how many years have I been advocating for this....now everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon....ok i guess :shrug
Yeah... Like anyone would have argued with getting that kind of return for Price. An elite centre AND a #1 dman.

you realize it's a fake trade. as likely as Chuckie for Tavares and Leddy

Rolex makes out he is the only one who understands having good centres is important. We chose Price and he is generational so it was not a bad choice. The problem is, we never filled the rest of the roster to make use of his generational skill level.

Is this coaching or Price?

Price is tied for ninth among NHL goaltenders with a .917save percentage (min. 30 starts) and third with a .934 clip at even strength. He’s struggled most with his team short-handed, yielding a league-leading 32 power-play goals against.

I wasn't talking about elite center AND #1 dmen.....I was only talking about Price vs Franchise center

Yes I know... and I was pointing out the difference cause you seem to think everyone is on board now and I was saying that it would take an elite centre +.

Of course nobody would have ever argued against trading Price for Crosby or Malkin. But straight up for Kopitar or Getzlaf... not so much.

I would have traded Price for Kopitar...and we would arguably be better off.....look at Quick...we can all see that he isn't top 5 goalie, but they still won 2 Cups with Kopitar-Carter duo down the middle

By the way, Kopitar is Therrien's wet dream....

We made the right pick in 2005. Our problem is what happened afterward.
And before...

TT had 2003 & 2004 drafts with plenty of C w/ size + talent options: Carter, Kessler, Getzlaf, Bergeron, Backes, Zajac, Dubinsky

Any of the above would've slotted in nicely to be slowly groomed playing behind Koivu

MB will fire MT and promote Sylvain Lefebvre.

Yes because Sly has achieved so much at the AHL level that he's clearly outgrown it and needs a new challenge. I mean just look at all those Calder Cups and all the prospects that he has groomed into elite NHL players. Clearly he is the best coach not currently in the NHL.

Sly told Farber a long time ago he doesn't want to be an NHL. Which makes him useless.
