Michel Therrien

Scared? Nope never said that. Said Anderson was a Hab killer.

It's luck that they are not a very good team, which they are not. Would of been not so lucky getting tampa in round one.

your and my definition of luck must be different

any team that finishes top in the division will be definition get a weaker team, that is not luck.

Of course he should be evaluated, I would be upset if there was no evaluation. That doesn't mean I want him nor that he should be fired but everyone needs to be evaluated. I would hope that Geoff also evaluates Bergevin's job as well.

I agree with this 100%. Everyone, even bergevin needs to be evaluated every year. Any serious business should do this.

He will be. They will say "pretty decent job" and then "we need to get you a couple of decent scorers"

It's funny how paid hockey analysts question Therrien and they're automatically shills; that their opinions need to be questioned.

Maybe, just maybe, they watch it objectively and they see a Junior coach behind an NHL bench.

Because Babcock can't score goals nor stop the puck.

Hitchcock lost in the first round, you wouldn't want him either? Peter Laviolette lost in the first round to Chicago, you wouldn't want him either?

Therrien can't score goals nor stop the puck either.

Hitchcock has lost in the first round three straight years, no thanks.

Laviolette no.

I would accept Babpenis although I know you and others would be calling for him to be fired by January 1

We Have wouldn't want them

Hitchcock would have won a Stanley Cup in St. Louis by now if he actually had a goaltender. They cheaped out on below average goaltending and it cost them.

By the way, they lost in the first round to LA & Chicago, two modern day dynasties and the Minnesota Wild, that ran out of gas and was beaten by Chicago who looks like they're going to win their 3rd cup in 5 years. I wouldn't be so fast to fault him on that.

so if an analyst said he is the right guy, maybe they are right too?

That's not what I'm saying.

There are people here who have flippantly dismissed anybody who has the gall to criticize Therrien because durrr look at his wins durrrrrr last place 2 1st place hurrrrrrrrr.

Now you have people in the MSM who are criticizing Therrien because they're coming around to see that this team isn't very good in spite of having the best goalie in the world, a Norris nominated d-man, one of the best goal scorers in the world, all in their prime and signed collectively under $20M.

So my point is, maybe there's something to it that would be worth reflecting on when it's not just some forum dweller that believes so.

Wow. We have 3 very good players - no other team can match us with that type of quality and quantity.
