Anything that makes the Ontario Proud guy upset is probably good for the country.
This seems like a good step in the right direction. Western nations have allowed authoritarians money to flow into their public conversations through these twats for a decade now and it's put us in an ugly place as a society. I think people would be pretty shocked at how quickly things went back to normal if we started regulating shit like this, bots and farms on social media networks, country of origin identifies on social media accounts.
Most of the bullshit comes from a tiny percentage of dipshits who get backdoor funding from outside of the country, and then have their content amplified by bot accounts.

Basically Canada has maintained very good GDP growth but has increased its population more than those other countries have over those years, so the per-capita i.e. per-person GDP growth number has gone down.
The notion that this is "self-destruction" is silly obviously, which is why JD the coward prefaces it with "i'm sure the issues are complicated...".
