It was always a deeply hilarious idea that because California as a whole goes blue in federal elections, that must mean that the wealthy owners of California vineyards and wineries were somehow not overwhelmingly MAGA-as-fuck Republican Trump supporters.
Not that any of them that happen to be Dems give a single shit about us either, mind you.

Yeah, a few pages back I posted an electoral map of California in 2024 side-by-side with a map of the biggest wine producing areas in California.
The reddest parts of the 2024 map almost perfectly overlapped wine country.
And honestly, Orange County and the other deepest red parts of California are as batshit or more than just about anywhere in flyover country. That is where Nixon and Reagan both hatched from, after all.

You would be correct, my friend - one of those ugly warts that haunts the interior of my home state, and one of a few reasons why I was glad and grateful for the educational "ride" out of the Valley. Geographically gorgeous place to be from.

Honestly surprised by Kenney’s face turn since leaving office. As much as he is still a piece of shit and is largely responsible for the treasonous mess that is Alberta’s current provincial government.
