New Canadian Politics Thread

Yeah, given where we were a few months ago I'll happily take this. I would lying though if I said that I was cool with the amount of Canadians who seemed entirely happy about electing Poilievre as our next PM. If the CPC were running a functioning human being like O'toole, I would get it. But Poilievre is the emptiest fucking suit I've seen Canadian politics in my life. Makes Andrew Scheer look like a man of substance and deep experience.
Fucking embarassing that it's this close.

And given what the polling showed, minority was my bear case. Some relief that it wasn't a leafy night but not particularly happy either.

Yeah, we're pretty pretty close to the worst case scenario tonight given the data we had in hand entering the day.

I'll take it. My head understands that it's a victory, but it's a bad minority if it stays this way. We needed to give our government a mandate and we just didn't. We chose fucking chaos at a time we can't afford it.

Get to Lib + unofficial NDP 172, and PP loses his seat, and I’ll call it a win.

Yeah, that's this meme for me tonight
