Even if not, even a few more seats would be huge. Would be nice if they had a bit more breathing room and it didn’t take every single Lib & NDP vote to get them to 172.

Okay...rough math, but so far Carleton is averaging about 250 votes per polling station, which means there's about 11,800 votes left (not counting advanced). Pierre is down 2071 votes at the moment. Pierre needs more than 6900 of those 11,800....so he needs about 59% of what's remaining.
