OT: American Politics

Remember, all of this shit is straight out of the Russian playbook on information control. The point is to make the average person give up even trying to parse reality. Lie about everything, endlessly, until the average person doubts everything and accepts that nothing is real. Even something that we all laugh about, their seeming inability to get their story straight, is part of this tactic. They want multiple versions of even the "official" story out in the world, because the point is to make what is actually real, impossible to determine.

It kind of speaks to how shit we've all gotten at building things that this is even a problem. Immigration is a huge net positive to a society and economy. But people need affordable housing and transportation. Your immigration goals should be linked to your ability to produce housing units and move people around efficiently. None of these are difficult concepts to understand.
