Hey Bill, former fan here. Just wondering, now that you've seen Trump’s post....Was it worth it? Was it worth bending the knee, kissing the ring, and destroying your credibility just for the sake of having a dinner with a fascist pedophile?

Don't exist and never existed. It requires institutional levels of organization and we've been taught for generations to 1) not trust government, which ironically has allowed them to take over the US government and make it everything they warned about and more & 2) that a small plucky group of good guys wins in the end without the effort of anyone else. We get to just sit on the couch and wait for the world to go back to normal.

They exist.

Unfortunately they work for the bad guys because the bad guys pay better.
 
Carlin had a routine about it like 30 years ago, the politicians you elect are a reflection of your society. So if your politicians lack empathy, are hateful, racist, corrupt and not exactly brightest society has to offer, these are the traits of your nation.

It's very hard to see the US getting out of this mess because the brainwashing that takes place within the right wing echo system is just so strong. 1/3 of the country is literally in favor of a king, and another 1/3 are so uniformed that they could along with anything if they see one headline on Facebook they might agree with.

The big states like NY and California really need to develop a long term plan to deal with a future that involves federal military presence in their states and a lack of funding federally. Most of the richer blue states might not see a drop in quality of live even within a one party system but chaos can be destabilizing.
