What have they been accused of that they haven't at least tried to do?

Remember when you and I used to argue over voter registration laws, and I tried telling you that they were racially motivated voter suppression and you were all like "nuh-uh, something something it's completely reasonable to expect ID, blah blah"? But then it turned out that it was actually (as in, admitted in emails, memos, etc found out as part of discovery in numerous court cases) to be racially motivated voter suppression?

Yeah, good times.

Why would you think that people willing to systematically oppress poor minorities, so that they can win elections without actually crafting policy that appeals to a property majority of Americans, are above anything? There aren't many stops south down that particular rabbit hole of oppression.

Just out of curiosity, are you purporting the Democrats do not oppress poor minorities? Like lying to them incessantly to get their vote?

Is Afghanistan ready to fight for themselves? I don’t think so. The Taliban will just take over within a couple of years and all that blood and money will be wasted.

You're really trying to draw a parallel between a politician lying to get votes (ignoring for a moment the veracity of this claim) and actively planning and plotting to take that vote away?

One is just greasy, the other is pure authoritarianism. It's like comparing a paper cut to a gunshot wound and saying "look, they're both bleeding".

Or maybe I was just making a joke based on the reality of the situation. His policies are driven by Fox and not even the decent people at Fox but the prime time lineup.

dems may overpromise, but when in office they've clearly fought for affordable healthcare, minority rights, equal opportunity, etc. and they are honest about needing to raise taxes to pay for it.

the republicans do something different - they literally do the opposite of what they promise. they promise lower deficits, but they always raise them. they promise tax cuts for everyone, but only cut for the rich. they promise to protect social security, medicare, etc. but always slash it.

Literally anti-democratic authoritarianism. Targetting specific demographics to remove their right to vote along racial and economic boundaries. But yeah, campaign promises are the exact same fucking thing.

Both sides are authoritarian in their own way. Dems force policies that many disagree with. You know, like pushing through the ACA through a budgetary loophole.
