Reuters reports that Lutnick said the adjustments to auto tariffs were aimed at allowing domestic carmakers time to grow their US plants and employment. He said it hadn’t been clear until conversations with automakers that even a small tariff would hold them back from hiring and investment. He said they told Trump they needed relief in order to boost hiring plans.

So Amazon is going to stop calling it a tariff on the receipt. People are still going to be paying an extra 125$ for their 100$ purchase.
Do they think people are going to say “hey I don’t mind spending the extra money I’m just glad it’s not a tarrif”

What part of "If they're for it, we're automatically against it" do the Dems not understand? When Obama was President, the GOP voted against each and every bill the Dems put forward, even ones they would normally support, just to be assholes.

It's time for Dems to stop writing "strong letters with 8 strong questions" and just start sayin "NO" to anything and everything the GOP tries to pass. Delay, delay, delay. Gum up the works and grind everything to a halt like the GOP did to Obama for the last 6 years of his presidency.
