OT: American Politics

It's always better under the Democrats. Somebody must have done their own research.

For any of us in the 30-50 age range (which is most of us around here I believe), our entire lives have been pretty much been a constant cycle of Republicans wrecking the economy, the Dems coming in and getting things somewhat back on the rails, only for the next Republican to come back in and royally fuck things up even more than their Republican predecessor managed.

Yet the Republican branding as their being the party of wise and prudent economic stewardship has somehow managed to hold firm.

Funny how that doesn't track with Canadian politics. Is that because they are pretty much the same thing under a different name?
