I'll happily admit you are right and get a porsche in 10 years, deal?Fair enough....I'm just of the mind that you worry about problems as they occur, not 3-5 years prior to them occurring. Especially when it comes to vehicles...I'll very likely be moving somewhere that is sunny 12 months of the year within the next few years, but I'm not buying the convertible now.
I know why you did it, I'm just telling you that I see you making the same mistake that I've seen a bunch of my buddies make, putting practicality in front of living, getting old before their time. Next stop is realizing that I'm right and over compensating with a mid life crisis porsche or something in 10-15 years.
Nice SUV though, yeah, but for an enthusiast like yourself, driving it will always feel like there's something missing.
Don't forget the golf bag. I take my work SUV when golfing because it's just so darn easy throwing the bag in the back and leaving.

My fear is being in the same place as a buddy right now. He has a 328 and just found out his wife is pregnant with a 2nd. He's now trying to get out of his lease with 1.5 years left and the dealer is hardballing him.
Getting out of a lease can be a nightmare unless you are getting into a much more expensive whip. I'd rather be "future" ready...and of course I've wanted an SUV for awhile.
The wife.
In all honesty, I get the worst cases of buyers remorse on everything.Fair enough....would have had more fun in it at 29, than you would at 39 though.
So, your fear is getting bent over for a few grand? I guess we view life a bit differently my friend.
As well it should be.
650i's are...amazing. Pure and simple.

I got it on my home, my cars, tv's everything. Something I inherited from my dad.
One of the things that allows me to more confidently make big purchases is create a checklist of wants and go from there. Yea, it's boring and bland, but it helps me sleep at night.

Yes, however lately I've been driving my work SUV more because of runs to Costco etc. The good part is it keeps the miles low on my car, the bad part is it's a piece of shit.
Here in Florida we call "summer toys" cars.
Can't wait to load a child seat in the back of a coupe.
Believe it or not, I do forsee the girlfriend and I having little corksens in the next few years.
I appreciate your input, Mindz, but I thought long and hard about this decision and opted for the SUV on purpose...not like I am settling for a Dodge Caravan here.
