OT: Cars

Agree with the CTS, but not the Porshe. It looks like a turd. If I'm going with Sport Sedans way out of my price-range:

Quadroporte
Aston Martin Rapide
Jaguar XJ

But..those are fantasy cars - for now.

I turn 34 in the spring...my goal is an Aston Martin before I'm 40.

Believe me, your playtime will return in 15 years or so.

How many do you have? Ages?

Two. Very young. I'm screwed.

(Joking.)

As far as cars are concerned, I dearly love them. But I have so many competing interests (including leisure, such as it is) that I doubt I'd ever pull the trigger on something truly cool.

This a great thread though, love that Maserati.

I turn 30 in 3 days...getting a little anxious for some reason. Last few days in my 20s.

20's are over rated bro. Seriously...I'm loving the shit out of my 30's. Wish I could go back and change a few things from my 20's, but as long as you've kept reasonably good care of yourself, have no crippling dependencies and have put some work into a career, your 30's should be stellar.

Thanks dude. I check 2 out of 3 boxes, but could probably use a career change. My 20's weren't that great, so not sure why I'm anxious about them being over. I'll take your word on the 30's being great.

I'm enjoying myself thoroughly.

30's >>>> 20's

30's are great

I love Audi's too but if you're leasing I'd go with the RDX. No sense in spending the extra $2400-$3600 depending on lease length.
I tend to agree. Though I do love the no charge anything with BMW and Audi's.

If I am paying $700 a month to lease your car you should pay to change the oil.

Acuras nickle and dime like that.

the new Jags aren't so bad. Still not at par with the japs and germans for reliability, but not brutal like 10-15 years ago. Same goes for the Caddies. the CTS series is reliable, especially the CTS-V since it's overbuilt and has an LS series engine.

It's funny, I can't warm to the styling of the XJ. I think I might have the XF instead, in spite of my luxobarge tastes. I'd go S65 before E63, 760 before 545, S8 before S6, but the XJ is just too frumpy looking. The grille is too tall, and the back looks halfway towards a hatchback. Not in a fastback way either.
