The games XBox Live are gonna offered are Xbox 360 games, like Assasin's Creed 2 and Halo 3, games that came out years ago. Even as of right now the PS+ network offers free games like Uncharted 3 and Little Big Karting for free with a subscription.

My preference is not to have any discs - would rather download all my games and skip the middle man (EB, etc).
Should simply have an activation code that is entered with a computer unique code to play. If activated elsewhere, becomes deactivated locally until reactivated. Easy peasy.

I've been with Microsoft from the beginning, but Sony's direct response to MS' attempt to end used games sold me.
I'll keep the 360, but I'm getting the PS4.

Just wanted to add; if companies went disc-less, and either saved us some money or actually put that money into the games instead of their pockets, I'd feel a little nicer towards them.

PS4 is $100 cheaper, has better hardware, unlike xbox you can play offline if you want... oh, and you can play used games (ms shot themselves in the foot). yes, online isnt free anymore ($50/year), but you get a free game every month so its not bad.
PS4 wins. only a fanboy would buy an xbox1.

Paying a monthly subscription is why Xbox Live was so great...you have to put money into something like that. I expect the PS4's online experience to greatly improve now.

I am not making a decision as of yet, but that info about xbox has already been debunked... it doesn't have to be connected every 24 hours.... and they have stated that they will make their games shareable up to ten times. (this is what I have heard.)
Those points you've listed have literally come from those reddit posts to instill the big brother notion.
And IF this news is true, you don't think all of the negative press and talk like this won't make XBox make the changes needed??? If they don't, then they'd need to fall on their faces.

Microsoft was trying to make a media center to sell to the masses. PS4 is a gaming system.
I had a 360 and decided to get a PS4 before E3 just because IMO I missed out on too many good games not having PS3 (Uncharted, God of War, Metal Gear, infamous, etc.) and I could care less about Halo and Fable.

Your the Sony fanboy. And if we take the ps3 vs the 360, there is no comparison for game play. Sure you pay for live, but the online experience has always been great. and because of live, DLC was always available first for the 360.
If all those things are true, especially what everyone is saying about the ps4, then absolutely the ps4 will succeed and I'll get a PS4, but man you can be such a sucky douchebag if people talk about something you differ in opinion.
