I haven't played in a month because September was nuts and I had my trip, will jump back in tonight still haven't played Eichenwald yet.

I have barely played it. Maybe 10 times.

I returned Gears of War 4 because it's not worth the money. It's fun, but definitely not worth the $146 for the Ultimate bundle. On the plus side, it's a very fun online experience. The campaign lacks some imagination though.

My buddy has it and i got to try it out last night. Pretty fricken cool. I'm probably going to hold off buying until 2nd generation but its damn cool already.

I was excited to buy a VR, but now I've changed my mind. as the date got closer I did not care as much. A little worried the "Novelty" factor will run it's course with this thing.

Its pretty f*cking cool when you put the headset on. It'll be a while before the games are worth buying the VR. I'm holding off for now but i was pleasantly surprised when i tried out the demos/games.

VR will be a novelty for the first 5+ years until more companies get more experience developing games for it then it will start to be more prominent tech.

In that case get the PS4 slim, should be relatively cheap. I just assumed you'd be getting a 4K TV at one point. But there are COD, NHL, Person 5, Uncharted bundles out for the PS4slim

There's one for $455 on amazon with Uncharted and Overwatch. Should start seeing more Black Friday deals after Halloween is done.

it's not just 4k, but if you have interest in VR, I'd consider it over the slim. It'll be able to handle higher frame rates etc

ps4 slim - 1080 at 30 frames
ps4 pro - 1080 at 60 frames

Yeah if you give a shit about pixels and VR, then the Pro/Neo is worth the investment.

Also Red Dead Redemption 2 announced by Rockstar.

VR is awesome. The games now are kind of just showcases for what can be done (at least what I have played), but its a game changer for sure. The tech is finally there for it to work properly.

Playing Batman is just so cool.
