Interesting that virtually every single person in the entire video is wearing a hat. There's a couple of kids without them. At one point I noticed 3 guys walking without 'em, then realized they have their hats in hand.

Yeah, everyone going around in suits and full dresses. You do wonder about the sound - how much ambient noise of whistles, horses, streetcars, factories, etc... would you actually have at the time. But definitely fascinating to see what's the same and what's different from 100 years ago.

It's amazing how wide the streets are for no cars. They planned the city for four lanes of traffic. That one shot of all of the kids walking on the road and maybe a horse and carriage go by and nothing else.

One of the better youtube channels for relatively deep dives into the insanity of modern US politics. Been meaning to post some of his stuff before. He used to be with Cracked before it died a couple of years ago.
