Has anyone watched An Idiot Abroad? Started on Episode 1 last night and thought it was kind of interesting. Not as funny as I had heard but still a pretty entertaining premise.

There is a debate, but as usual you've already made up your mind on the issue and refuse to accept the opinion of others. Which is fine, I wouldn't expect anything different.

I was being a nerd and researching the Angevin Empire last night when I came across the incident involving the White Ship's sinking. Now I really want to check out The Pillars of the Earth series, which is based on The Anarchy, the first post-conquest English Civil War, that followed Henry I's death in 1135.

It's the series that gets overshadowed by GOT.

I wouldn't take it too personally.

There were kids I knew growing up from pretty upper-crust families that wouldn't shut up about Shawn Michaels and Brett Hart at recess during grade school.

And there were kids from less affluent families that were into literature, science, and other more "nerdy" or boring pursuits. Not many in each category mind you, but they were there.
