Checking in on this thread for the first time this game, and am absolutely astonished to see people whining about the officiating.

It's been just fine and has had zero bearing on the fact that the Spurs came back to take the lead.

I've done nothing but give the Spurs props. Embellishment, however, is embellishment and Mills flopped...hard.

It'll be kind of exciting to see what Riley does this offseason.....I could see him talking the guys into taking $14m apiece, and bring Melo in.......or him doing something bold like allowing Wade to walk, so that he can spend that money on acquiring better quality depth.

I'll be surprised if Lebron bolts tho.

Legitimate basketball knowledge.....case in point....

Wade is really useless now. The guy used to hit fade away jumpers with ease and now he can't hit an uncontested floater.

Wade's jumpers are actually better now than ever......his problem is he doesn't have the explosion or speed to beat guys off the dribble or to the rim, like he used to.

His evolution as a player involved him considerably improving his jump shooting though.....His PER was through the roof this season, and he shot an obscene 54.5% from the field, an all-time great level for a SG.
